Adoption Policies

Red Lake Rosie's Rescue's mission is to place each of our animals in a loving home in which the animal will thrive. We work to place our dogs and cats in homes that will meet the animal's needs, as well as those of the adoptive families'.

Upon receiving a completed application, we conduct a phone interview, reference review, and a home visit.

Due to our home visit requirement, we are unable to adopt outside of a 75-mile radius of the Twin Cities or out of state.

Our adult dog adoption fees include: spay/neuter;  Distemper/Parvo (DAHPP) vaccination, Rabies vaccination, worming, and microchip. Adults over 2 years of age are tested for heartworm.

Our puppy adoption fees include: spay/neuter; 1st Distemper/Parvo (DAHPP),  worming, and microchip.

Our cat adoption fees include: spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia/FIV test, PRC vaccination, Rabies vaccination, and microchip.

Our kitten adoption fees include: spay/neuter, Feline Leukemia/FIV test, 1st PRC vaccination, and microchip.
