Shyla was found roaming as a stray on the reservation. She was malnourished; had puncture wounds from what appeared to be a dog bite; and was very scared of people. Since then, her wounds have healed, and she has become very affectionate and quite the snuggler. Shyla has learned to sit nicely and wait for treats or a meal. She is housetrained and walks on leash without pulling. She is a young dog, about a year old, and at only 40 lbs., is an active little lady and quite smart. She enjoys being outside, running and playing with the resident dogs. Shyla is still puppy-like, chewing on and carrying around toys and sticks. She likes playing with balls and is eager to please. Shylaâs ideal home would have a person or family to give her lots of cuddles and a fenced yard for her to hang out in. Her adoption fee is $325, which includes spay, microchip, and vaccinations. Please Note - We do not adopt to homes outside of a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities due to our requirement of a home visit before placement.
