Please don't scroll past my picture because I'm another black dog. My name is Luke, best I know Iâm about 2 years old and a lab mix. The first two years of my life started out pretty rough. I lived outside on a chain without enough food, shelter or love on the Red Lake Reservation. At least I had my brother with me for companionship. In June of 2014 at a RLRR spay/neuter clinic, I was neutered. I met a volunteer there, and she was super nice. She snuggled with me and helped me recover from surgery. She showed me how nice humans can be. The people at RLRR tried to convince my human to surrender me, but he would not, so back on the chain I went. In June of 2015, RLRR convinced my human to surrender me. The same young volunteer was working the clinic again. Believe it or not, SHE REMEMBERED ME!!!! I got to spend an entire afternoon sitting on her lap and cuddling. Life became amazing. Iâve been in foster care with this special volunteer and her family for a few months, now. My special friend went off to college, and I miss her. Itâs time for me to find my forever family. I love to snuggle and spend time with my foster family. I play well with my four canine foster siblings. Iâm smart and learn quickly. I really like going for car rides and walk well on a leash. I do get distracted and pull a little when something catches my attention. Loud people make me nervous, and I go hide when Iâm afraid. I really enjoy children, but my foster mom thinks small kids would be a bit much for me. Iâd be great with kids over 8 years old. Iâve never seen a cat, so my foster mom isnât sure how Iâd do with them. I get a bit nervous during a thunderstorm, but not terrified. I am completely house trained. I love to chew up toys, and, if I have the chance, socks. For some reason, I just love to chew on them. I get the zoomies and LOVE to run around the fenced-in back yard. My foster mom, thinks it would be good for me to go to a home with a fenced yard. If youâre looking for a loyal companion to share life with you and while away the days, Iâm your guy. Iâll be a devoted companion. My adoption fee is $325, which includes neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and worming. Please Note - We do not adopt to homes outside of a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities due to our requirement of a home visit before placement.

Mathilda is about 1.5 years old and an incredible dog. She is super loving, cute, and responsive. She is the kind of dog that bonds deeply with her human(s). When Mathilda was rescued, her beautiful coat was matted and filthy, and she had suffered trauma to her left eye. Her eye was removed, and she does just fine without it. Her coat had to be shaved completely. She has beautiful coloring and markings, so when it grows in again, she will be gorgeous! Mathilda is very outgoing and loves meeting new people. She is great with children, too. She likes looking out the window on car rides; likes marrow bones; and loves food. She likes other dogs and is good with cats. Mathilda is great dog and will be a wonderful lifelong companion. Her adoption fee is $350, which includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, and worming. Please Note - We do not adopt to homes outside of a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities due to our requirement of a home visit before placement.
